Camp jobs by roleCounselor-in-training programs for high school students
Counselor-in-training (CIT) programs let high school students learn leadership at camp, working alongside counselors before they are old enough to be one.
What camps usually look for
- Each camp sets its own ages and structure. Some CIT programs are unpaid, some charge a program fee, some pay a stipend; ask each camp.
- Camp Connection profiles start at 16. If you are 16 or 17, a parent or guardian confirms your profile, and camps contact them, not you.
Pay, housing and requirements differ from camp to camp. Each posting says what that camp offers; we do not publish averages.
No camp has this role posted on Camp Connection right now. A profile is how camps find you when they do.

Camp Connection is not an employer or a staffing agency. We connect people to camps; each camp does its own screening, background checks and hiring. Postings expire automatically.
