Camp jobs by roleCamp counselor
Counselors live with and lead a cabin or small group of campers through the day: activities, meals, evening program, devotions and bedtime. At most Christian camps it is the heart of summer staff.
What camps usually look for
- Most camps hire counselors who have finished high school; some take older high school students. Ask each camp.
- Camps commonly ask for CPR and first aid, or train you during staff week.
- Expect a background check and references, often including a pastor or church reference.
Pay, housing and requirements differ from camp to camp. Each posting says what that camp offers; we do not publish averages.
No camp has this role posted on Camp Connection right now. A profile is how camps find you when they do.
