Camp jobs by roleCamp lifeguard and waterfront staff
Waterfront staff guard pools, lakes and rivers, run swim lessons and boating, and keep the busiest activity at camp safe.
What camps usually look for
- A current lifeguard certification is required (for example American Red Cross or YMCA), often a waterfront module for open water.
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification helps for teaching swim lessons.
- CPR and first aid are expected.
Pay, housing and requirements differ from camp to camp. Each posting says what that camp offers; we do not publish averages.
No camp has this role posted on Camp Connection right now. A profile is how camps find you when they do.
