Camp maintenance and grounds

Maintenance and grounds staff keep buildings, waterfronts, trails, vehicles and equipment working: repairs, mowing, setup and teardown for groups.

What camps usually look for

  • Trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, small engines) are valued but not always required.
  • Some camps ask for a valid driver license; a few need a CDL for buses.

Pay, housing and requirements differ from camp to camp. Each posting says what that camp offers; we do not publish averages.
