Camp Elkanah
Camp Elkanah is a Conservative Baptist retreat and camp property on Highway 244 outside La Grande, Oregon, operated year-round by the Blue Mountain Conservative Baptist Association since 1956. The 172-acre site offers overnight accommodations for up to 240 people in 22 boxcar-style cabins plus an RV park, and hosts youth camps, church retreats, men's and women's retreats, pastors' retreats, and an Outdoor School program for area students. The camp is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association (CCCA).

Camp Elkanah began as the Mt. Emily Lumber Company's logging headquarters camp (est. 1924); two railroad boxcars that once served as the camp's two-room school were converted into camper cabins and are still named Samaria and Joppa.
