"Over 75 years ago, Frank and Gertrude Harlow generously donated 200 acres of land to First Baptist Church to be set aside for ministry to children. Original plans called for an orphanage, but the state, at that time, was transitioning toward the foster system. Therefore, the plan for a children's camp was set in motion."
