Founded in 1894 by Methodist minister Rev. William Bryenton as a holiness camp meeting in a pine grove, originally named 'The Susquehanna Park Holiness Camp Meeting Association' before being shortened to 'Mahaffey Camp' in 1913; its Main Tabernacle seats 900.
